Four Seasons Tea Restaurant Penang

Wish all Happy Chinese New Year in advance.

I had my department CNY lunch at Four Season Restaurant which located at Sunway Tunas. It is located at the corner shop which is behind the Teow Chew Ming. Actually there is main outlet located at town area, Jalan Teregganu.

For me, I quite like Four Seasons as the food there are delicious with reasonable price. One of the most famous dish is the oyster mee. I like it so much, just simply yummy. If you are first time been there, I think this is the “must” dish that you should try it out if you like oyster. Besides, the fried glass noodle and hor fun also one of the nice dish there.

However, we didn’t go for the noodle type of food but we ordered a set lunch which included 6 dishes, daily soup, drinks and fruits.

Four Seasons Restaurant located at corner lot, Sunway Tunas
Yee Sang (七彩鱼生) -- RM 23
It usually consists of strips of raw fish (most commonly salmon), mixed with shredded vegetables and a variety of sauces and condiments, among other ingredients. Yusheng literally means "raw fish" but since "fish (鱼)" is commonly conflated with its homophone "abundance (余)"
This dish is served as an appetizer to raise 'good luck' for the new year and is usually eaten on Renri, the seventh day of the Chinese New Year. In a celebration known as "lo hei" (Cantonese 撈起 or 捞起), families and friends gather around the table and, on cue, proceed to toss the shredded ingredients into the air with chopsticks while saying 吉祥话 (auspicious wishes) out loud to mark the start of a prosperous new year and it's customary that the higher you toss, the greater your fortunes! Although not yet reach the day but we not wish to miss the opportunity to gather together for this celebration and hope it can bring all the good things to all of us. hehehe...
Daily soup. Taste nice...
Four Seasons Vegetables -- RM14
This is one of the famous dish there. 4 type of vege fried together with soup
Nestum Prawn -- RM36.50
Marmite chicken served with "man tau" -- RM21.50
Taste simply nice. Chicken very soft and is great with the marmite source
Curry Fish (Patin fish) -- RM35
Hainan style "choon pneah" -- RM15.40
I like this dish too as is yummy
Variety of fruits which come at the end of the lunch
Our bill -- RM 512.20 for 3 tables
